5 Fabulous Stuff/Events I am waiting for

2016 is about to end and 2017 is here and here are 5 things/events that I'm waiting for-


 MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS, BARCELONA
MWC is a combination of the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the world. In layman's terms, it will be a tech enthusiast gathering where world's largest tech brands like Samsung, LG etcetera will showcase their latest products and innovations. This year it will be held as usual in February, more precisely Feb 27th to March 2nd of 2017. Cant wait...


Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them- The Harry Potter prequel is one of the most awaited movies of 2016. Releasing on 18th of November 2016, its written by J. K. Rowling and directed by David Yates. According to the trailer it will tell us about the contemporary magic world that existed in America, since all Harry Potter movies were based in Britain. Being a prequel it will give us insights of the world before Harry Potter stuff happened and as the name suggests it will focus on weird, wonderful and powerful beasts of the magic world. Kinda like Pokemons, isn't it!!! :p










Shakira's 9th Studio Album- Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a huge Shakira fan. I have loved her ever since I discovered her on TV in 2006. She has been the love of my life for a very long time, sure today I love Lady GaGa more but still she will ever be my first. Her 9th studio album is in works and I cant wait to listen to it. Since all other A-list Divas have already launched their works for the year with huge accolades like Beyoncé with Lemonade, GaGa with Joanne, Adele with 25 and Rihanna with Anti, She will be facing some fierce competition, So it better be good. Go Girl!!!











UP Elections 2017- 2017 will see Indian Citizens voting for formation of new governments in several states like UP, HP, Goa, Uttarakhand, Gujrat, Punjab and Manipur. Out of these states, the election in Uttar Pradesh is the most important one. The party of my choice- BJP seems to be in a very positive position with recent Family Feud in the ruling family and recent switch of a very prominent INC leader to BJP. Its incredibly fun to follow them in India while Trump and Hillary are entertaining the rest of the World.


Melanie Martinez's 2nd Studio Album- Very few singers have such an amazing, original, new and refreshing take on music at the age of 20 when she released her first studio album called "Cry Baby" which went to be a hit and quite critically acclaimed. The astonishing subjects of songs like child sexual abuse, Surgical Beautification of body and being unpopular among people made her stand out from millions of love/break up songs released every year. Especially coupled with her sultry young voice and creepy looks and videos made her songs stay in my mind for a very long time, still craving for more.  Now she is working on her 2nd studio album which will supposedly release in 2017. I cannot over-state how excited I am for that album. For those who don't know she started her career through The Voice USA and reached Top 6 and Adam Levine was her Coach. If you haven't heard her songs you must, you might fall in love. Good Luck girl, Blow our Minds once again!!!

Kabir Singh- A Doctor's Review

So I found time to watch the latest bollywood release- Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor and a few beautiful women I’m not bothered to learn the names of. After a long time, medical profession and live of doctors was the baseline for a very mainstream movie, the last one was Munna Bhai MBBS, and it was a wonderfully entertaining with great social message. So I had a lot of expectations. It was a remake of the south Indian movie Arjun Reddy and I’m not familiar with it at all. And lets just say, in spite of a watchable story line, it let me down in so many parameters, so many dimensions, it won’t be easy writing this. So first lets start with the good. Almost everyone of the cast member are great actors and it showed (other than the various beautiful romantic entanglements of Dr Kabir Singh, MS Orthopedics, thats why I’m not bothered to learn their names). Goodbye College!!!

So exactly 4 and a half years back I started the journey of my Graduation, 2000 kms away from home. With my admission to a Medical School, I was never more excited in my life. Those were the innocent days when I still believed in the power of men and the strength of oneself to conquer the world. I still do but with better understanding of the phrase "One's own Enemy." The abundantly fabled College life was not totally what I expected it to be. A myriad of failures, wins, heartbreaks and sleepless nights was what it was. When I started I remember being anxious about the fact that the course was almost 6 years long, but someone told me that I wont even realize how fast this time would pass. And here I am, on a lonely night, listening to Adele and writing an article about it. On February 10th, 2018 we had our final exams results declared.
