The Lion King leaves me wanting more!!!
The quest of nostalgia often proves unworthy. It comes when it comes. Naturally! The Lion King is a Disney legend that would be remembered for a hundred years to come. Sequel or no sequel. The trailer for the new sequel looked amazing, with stunning scenes of Africa, and so realistic but this time it had Beyoncé in it. So it was hard to miss. So I made a stopover to the nearest Cinepolis, first day, second show! It began with great setting, powerful voices, detailed characters and stunning graphics. James Earl Jones as Mufasa was indispensable to this project. It made me wonder if Amitabh Bachchan would have been a better choice than Sharukh Khan to voice Mufasa in the hindi version of the movie. The cinematography felt a little copy pasted, lacking a natural flow which created a lesser immersive experience than one would hope for.
