A Desire long Over-due

Ever since I got out of my tiny pond called Nokia, I realised there's a whole vast ocean called Apple. Since then, on and off I have been dreaming about the amazing over-priced products they make. And finally today I have become an 'isheep'. I bought my first idevice- the IPhone 7 plus and its magnificent. Sure I had to do everything short of selling kidneys but I finally got there and as of now it seems like a place worth being. Its gorgeous, its fast, its powerful, buttery smooth, intelligent, its everything and beyond in a smartphone. Out of a lot of choices I chose the IPhone over Android primarily for a change of taste. Sure Android phones offer you all those stuff (for the first six months, LOL!!) but then again what's living if it aint adventurous. Here are some pics of my unit. Pls don't mind the bad quality pics, it was taken from a very old Samsung phone.

So initially I was fixated on the Galaxy A9 Pro, but my choice kept changing with each passing week. The next was C9 Pro, then came HTC 10, then came Galaxy S7 Edge, followed by LG G6 which was supposed to be my next device until some people intervened and impacted my thinking. I was already saving, but with some boost I could reach iPhone 7 plus. The ultimate decision was to be made next- which colour. They are all nice but I love black and there are 2 of them. Just black and the jet black. The matt black was the practical choice. Less scratches, less fingerprints. But the jet black version looked so divine. Ultimately I went with the matt black edition, thanks to the pre-GST prices.

So theres an interesting story I have been thinking of writing about. Me and my friend were one day discussing the smartphone scenario and realised we both were kind of jinx to whatever smartphone brand we patronized over the years. He being responsible for Nokia, Sony and LG while me being Responsible for Nokia (4 times), Lumia, HTC and Le Eco. While one of his and two of mine are dead and the others are kinda clinging to life by a string. So he decided to jump ship and switch to the immortals (read Apple) and our observation so far says it was not him, it was the smartphone industry. While I have jumped ships late, it would be interesting to see if Apple shares start tanking in some time. If it does I'm really sorry folks that you wont be seeing your beloved iphones in few years anymore. :D :p I hope I'm not that powerful of a jinx.

Hoping for a good experience and a long company of this remarkable piece of tech, enjoy your day. Will see you soon.
